Of Singing, Shopping and Spring Showers

Nothing's much been happening since Amsterdam, hence my lack of entries. Still, it's been pretty relaxing.

Couple of days back we were at the only pub in the whole area called Batolome to watch a couple of friends perform. Guess what? We got to do the same as well! Wasn't very good. yeah, I wasn't very good, owing to the fact that I didn't know 2 of the 3 songs that we sang. haha. So, we actually bought a guitar yesterday to practise to put up a combined tauschie concert thingy sometime...hopefully... haha.
Went down to Wiesbaden yesterday in a bid to get our visas extended. We missed the train so we took a bus, but at the end, we were still late. Therefore, we gotta go back another day. That said, it was a fruitful day! We walked all around the city centre as it's still too cold to see the beautiful sights that will bloom in spring/summer. While waiting for Sabrina outside the New Yorker, me and Ben saw this group of old men. I swear they looked like those mafia dons. Echoes of "We'll make you an offer you cannot refuse" come to mind.
By some stroke of luck, we passed by a shop selling Levi's and other expensive jeans and right outside was a rack with a sale. The prices were just crazy. I bought a pair of Levi's and a pair of Lee Jeans for 15 Euros each. I'd have bought more but then there were no more sizes for me. Current tally, 3 pairs of jeans in 2 weeks for under 160 SGD. WOOOOHOOOOOO... but now must eat grass until i go Spain (Zara!) and Heidelberg (general shopping!) and Stuttgart (home of Hugo Boss and their warehouse). That said, i'll only buy stuff if it's really cheap. no point going into the boutiques where things are so bloody overpriced. Little shops off the main track, that's where it's at.Lastly, SPRING IS HERE!!! just had a couple of showers, which I don't really like, but the weather has been pretty awesome. Went for a jog to a nearby town two mornings ago and it was so enjoyable running up the hill and amidst the vineyards. Will bring my camera along next time.
Now then, I have two M&A projects to work on. gottagogottago
